Hockey Club – Growing the Game in East Lothian

We’re excited to announce the launch of a new Hockey Club for P6–P7 pupils at Dunbar Grammar School (Astro Pitch). Led by DGS staff and volunteers, the club runs every Monday (unless stated) and offers pupils a fun, active way to develop their hockey skills.

This initiative is part of a wider effort to grow hockey in East Lothian, and we’re aiming to join the Saturday U12 League to give our young players the opportunity to compete and connect with other schools across the region.

Whether your child is new to hockey or already passionate about the sport, this club is a great way to get involved, stay active, and be part of a growing community.

When: Mondays, 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM
Where: Dunbar Grammar School – Astro Pitch
Who: P6–P7 pupils (Shin pads and gum shields required. Sticks provided)
Goal: Join the East Lothian Saturday U12 League
