Badminton is back for 2024-25!

Badminton P4-7 at Preston Lodge High School

We're delighted to bring back Badminton this term with the support of two of our PLHS pupils who are keen to develop their coaching skills while sharing their knowledge and enthusiasm for the sport. Sessions will be supervised by Stewart Sands, Active Schools Coordinator.

Our P4-7 Badminton classes are currently open to children from both Prestonpans and Tranent school areas, offering a great opportunity for pupils to build friendships and meet children from other schools.

Badminton P5-6 at Longniddry Primary School

Thank you to our Longniddry Primary School PE Specialist, Susan Holligan, who has kindly offered to deliver a 4-week block of lunchtime Badminton sessions for P5-6 this term. Participants will have their lunch at 12:30pm and then attend the Badminton sessions at the gym hall from 12:50pm each week.

Please note: the deadline for booking is 2 working days before the start of the activity block. This is to help us ensure we know participant numbers and information in advance of classes starting, and allow us time to prepare registers and share this information with coaches and activity leaders. If you would like to book after this time or after an activity block has started, please email Stewart Sands, Active Schools Coordinator directly at ssands@elcschool.org.uk to check if spaces are available.
