Basketball is back for 2024-25!

Basketball is a fast-paced, energetic team sport that is brilliant for improving hand-eye coordination, agility and stamina. Players will take part in a variety of games and activities to learn and develop the fundamental skills of Basketball, such as dribbling, passing and shooting.

Our P4-7 Basketball classes are currently open to children from both Prestonpans and Tranent school areas, offering a great opportunity for pupils to build friendships and meet children from other schools.

Please note: the deadline for booking is 2 working days before the start of the activity block. This is to help us ensure we know participant numbers and information in advance of classes starting, and allow us time to prepare registers and share this information with coaches and activity leaders. If you would like to book after this time or after an activity block has started, please email Stewart Sands, Active Schools Coordinator directly at ssands@elcschool.org.uk to check if spaces are available.
