Active Schools Cheerleading | Prestonpans & Tranent

Cheerleading is back for 2024-25!

Cheerleading is an energetic dance and gymnastics based activity, which involves learning and performing choreographed routines combining cheers, jumps, dancing, tumbling and stunting. Our Cheerleading sessions are delivered by qualified coach, Erin Buckley, with support from one our PLHS Senior Pupils.

We will be rotating the venue throughout the school year between Preston Lodge High School in Prestonpans and Ross High School in Tranent. Both sessions at PLHS and RHS are open to P2-P7 pupils in the Prestonpans and Tranent school areas.

Please see below for details of the latest available classes.

For all the latest updates, follow Prestonpans Active Schools on Facebook and Twitter(X).

Please note: the deadline for booking is 2 working days before the start of the activity block. This is to help us ensure we know participant numbers and information in advance of classes starting, and allow us time to prepare registers and share this information with coaches and activity leaders. If you would like to book after this time or after an activity block has started, please email Stewart Sands, Active Schools Coordinator directly at ssands@elcschool.org.uk to check if spaces are available.
