Active Schools Hockey
Welcome back to Prestonpans Active Schools Hockey!
At Active Schools Hockey we'll have fun games and drills to improve fundamental Hockey skills such as passing and dribbling; movement skills such as, coordination, balance and change of direction; and mental skills such as cooperation and teamwork.
Hockey will take place outdoors. Please ensure your child wears suitable clothing and footwear for outdoor activity and our often unpredictable weather! Shin pads and a mouth guard are also advised. Please remember a bottle of water and hand sanitiser if possible.
The P3-6 sessions are open to pupils from Prestonpans and Tranent school areas. The P7 sessions are open to Prestonpans school area pupils only. This term, P7's will join the S1's as a transition activity.

Tranent and Prestonpans AS Hockey P3-6
Hockey P3-6 (Open to Prestonpans and Tranent Cluster Pupils) - Online booking available from 6:00pm on Wednesday 26th October 2022
Venue: Preston Lodge High School, 2G Hockey Pitch
Ages: P3 - P6
Dates: Wednesdays - Nov 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th; Dec 7th (6 sessions)
Time: 4:00 - 5:00pm
Price: FREE
Activity Leaders: Karen Munro & Volunteers
Equipment: Clothing and footwear appropriate for outdoor play on astroturf pitch; during the colder months, hats, gloves and jackets are advised; shin pads and mouth guards are recommended; water bottle with name on it; bring your own stick if you have one, but not essential, sticks will be available to borrow.
