Tennis Coaching is available at Polson Park Tennis Courts, Tranent, this term with local Tennis Coach, Euan Cameron. These LTA Youth sessions are delivered by Euan Cameron Tennis and are not Active Schools Sessions.

LTA Youth - Red Ball P1 and P2

 

P1/P2 - Fun tennis class looking to introduce and teach kids the main strokes of forehand, backhand, volley and serve as well as developing there balance, co-ordination, agility etc. Learning the required skills through fun games, practices and feeding from coach.

 

Time: 15:45 - 16:30 

Age: 4 - 7 years old

LTA Youth - Orange Ball P3 and P4

 

At the Orange stage, children learn the rules & scoring to play the game from serve & return. Coaches will support children to grow their motor skills (orientation, hand-eye coordination, running & moving) to play in a dynamic environment. At the Orange stage children will increase proficiency, problem-solving skills & learn sportsmanship.

 

Time: 16:30 - 17:30 

Age: 6 - 9 years old 

Level: All

LTA Youth - Green Ball P5, P6 and P7

 

At the Green stage, children enjoy playing tennis on a full size court. Coaches will help children to grow their game to play with variety and will continue to improve their tactical awareness whilst refining technique. Children will become more autonomous and accept greater responsibilities. 

 

Time: 17:30 - 18:30 

Age: 8 - 12 years old 

Level: All
