Active Schools Running Clubs | Tranent
The Running Club will be delivered by a fantastic team of volunteers, supported by Active Schools.
This activity will provide a great opportunity for pupils to improve their fitness, get outside and get active. Pupils will join their friends in a fun and energising running session, suitable for runners of all levels from P5-P7.
Please note: the deadline for booking is 2 working days before the start of the activity block. This is to help us ensure we know participant numbers and information in advance of classes starting, and allow us time to prepare registers and share this information with coaches and activity leaders. If you would like to book after this time or after an activity block has started, please email Niamh Westwood, Active Schools Coordinator directly at nwestwood@elcschool.org.uk to check if spaces are available.

Tranent AS St Martin's RC Run Club
For St Martin's Primary School Pupils ONLY
Ages: P5, 6 and 7's
Thursday 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th January 2026
Time: 3:15pm - 4:00pm
Price: FREE
Sessions will be run by Mrs Palmer Fairbairn and Niamh Westwood.
Please wear appropriate warm clothing for outdoor sport along with suitable shoes for running. Please also ensure your child comes with a water bottle that can be filled up for the activity.
Booking will be live from Monday 1st December at 12:30pm.

Time: 8:15am - 8:50am

Please wear appropriate warm clothing for outdoor sport along with suitable shoes for running. Please also ensure your child comes with plenty of water.
If your child has previously signed up to this block through Active Schools then there is no need to do so again, unless contact details have changed. Children who have not signed up through the booking link are required to do so.
