Active East Lothian Karate | Tranent

Martial Arts is one of the fastest growing sports in East Lothian and Karate in Tranent is no exception! Our classes are run by the brilliant Chris Ewing Karate Club and Neve Ewing who have very strong club links in place to allow every child who takes part in our free classes to progress on to his high achieving Karate Club!

With numerous International successes and the club and Neve herself representing Scotland in Karate this could really be the start of something huge for your child!

If your child doesn’t want to compete at the highest level though, the classes teach discipline, fitness and self-defence techniques which create very well rounded young people!

Please note: the deadline for booking is 2 working days before the start of the activity block. This is to help us ensure we know participant numbers and information in advance of classes starting, and allow us time to prepare registers and share this information with coaches and activity leaders. If you would like to book after this time or after an activity block has started, please email Niamh Westwood, Active Schools Coordinator directly at nwestwood@elcschool.org.uk to check if spaces are available.
