Trampolining

Our Trampoline classes are all run in partnership with the excellent City of Edinburgh Trampoline Club. These classes allow any child from P1-7 within the Tranent Cluster to get involved in the sport with classes at Ross High School. All of the coaches who work for Active Schools are also coaches for their club session, so should any child want to progress on to more advanced Trampolining, the coaches are there every week to point them onto the right development pathway. However if you just want to take part for the enjoyment of the sport, you can do that too!!

Trampolining is a great way to keep fit and also it is great fun!! With some children from the Tranent Cluster already representing their country at the British Championships, it is a great sport to be involved in for fun and to possibly become the next local superstar! 

Please Note: For Trampolining classes all participants should have long hair tied back to avoid being caught in Springs. Children may also be turned away if they are wearing denim shorts/trousers or items of clothing which may get caught in the Trampoline for Health and Safety purposes. ALL CHILDREN must also wear socks, as bare feet will not be allowed onto the trampolines. Also at request of the coaches, parents will not be permitted to stay in the hall during the sessions, they are hoever free to sit outside the hal and wait for the class to finish.
