Aberlady Bay in World War 2 - 2025

1:00 – 3:30 pm

Come on a guided walk around Aberlady Bay Nature Reserve to explore the remains of defences from World War 2.  We will also cross Aberlady Bay at low tide to visit the wrecks of two XT craft midget submarines and hear the role they played. There will be an optional opportunity then to visit a hidden WW2 pill box lookout.

This is a moderate walk of about 9 km and will be exposed to all weathers.  Bring waterproofs, walking boots, a snack and drink. 

Suitable for adults and children aged 13+.
