Young Carers Summer Holiday Programme
East Lothian Council Young Carers Service aims to ensure Young Carers have the same opportunities as their peers. We are working with Venturing Out and Wilder Outdoor Education to provide a range of FREE adventurous activities for young carers during the school holidays. Some activities will only be available to young carers in a specific area as we want to provide them with the opportunity to meet other local young carers and get to know what resources are available to them locally. Other activities will be open to all young carers living in East Lothian. In order to keep transport costs to a minimum and reduce our carbon footprint young carers, particularly the older ones, will be encouraged to travel by public transport using their free bus pass. However, we will provide transport were necessary. As we are using external providers we will send you their consent form. This must be submitted to secure your booking.
