Google Bootcamp - Session Outlines
Session 1
This first session will introduce you to the google for Education Certified Educator program; provide hints and tips for using G-Suite tools in your classroom and focus on specific features to support collaboration in your classes.
Tools explored in this session: Docs, Drive, Slides, Sites & Chrome.
Session 2
This second session will build on your learning from session 1. You will take a deeper dive into data collection and analysis and methods of creating a paperless classroom.
Tools explored in this session: Classroom, Sheets, Forms and Google Search.
Session 3
This final session focuses on the lesser used tools within the G-Suite for Educational apps. The focus is on communication and video conferencing. During this session you will also register for your exam.
Tools explored in this session: YouTube, G-mail, Hangouts and Google Groups.
The Exam - Level 1 Google for Education
This space will be set up to minimise distractions for you during your exam time. Please note that the exam has a time limit of 3 hours and you will likely need most of this time to complete it. Please note, you must have registered and attended all 3 Google Bootcamp sessions in order to take this exam.
