• Understanding the job outline and person specification, essential and desirable criteria
• Identifying your own skills, abilities, knowledge and experience
• Matching these to the role, and to GTCS Standards
• Making your application stand out using the STAR approach
• Developing themes to discuss at interview

Outcomes

On completion of the course, participants will:

• Have the skills and knowledge to better prepare them for the recruitment process 
• Be able to submit higher quality applications meeting the requirements of the vacancy 
• Be better prepared for interview
