This course is for practitioners, who may in the course of their work encounter   families where there is problem with substance misuse.

The course is facilitated by MELDAP and a service user, who tells her story as a   mother with problem substance misuse when her children were growing up.

The course offers an opportunity to hear her story and for practitioners to reflect   on how the National Guidance, when working with families where there is   problem substance misuse, is helpful as a framework for intervention.

This training is available as an online resource through LearnPro for people who do not   have direct contact with families face to face.
