SMART Planning Workshop

This course will run on the following dates:

26th September 2018 from 1.30pm – 5.00pm in Esk Room 2

30th November 2018 from 9.30am – 1.00pm in Esk Room 1

Venue: Brunton Hall, Ladywell Way, Musselburgh, EH21 6AF

Introduction
This workshop aims to help improve planning across all agencies across Children’s Services. It will include exercises, resources and principles that underpin effective planning for children and their families. This is your opportunity to partake and learn practical skills to take back into practice.
The target audience for this workshop is Health Visitors, Midwifes, School Nurses, Teachers, Designated Members of Staff, Head Teachers, Social Workers, Police and Third Sector who are involved in creating Children’s Plans.

• Understand principles underpinning effective planning
• Improve knowledge of tools that can assist in making plans SMART
• Test your skills in SMART plans
• Improve your confidence and creative thinking when planning with children and their families.
