SUMMER ACTIVITIES FOR FAMILIES

Cost: Child £3.50 per activity  Adult £3.50 per activity

This is an opportunity to explore the natural environment with your children, under the guidance of East Lothian Council Countryside Rangers. 

Events are aimed at families with children aged 3 and over and costs £3.50 per adult or child. Younger siblings are welcome to attend free of charge. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

DISCOVERY WEEK: 1st-5th July 2019, Yellowcraig

A full week of ranger led activities based at Yellowcraig with a different theme each day:

Day 1 - Environmental Games and an introduction to fire lighting
Day 2 - Environmental Art – make your own paint, create clay sculptures and beach art
Day 3 - Water World – explore rockpools, go pond dipping and carry out a beach clean 
Day 4 - Bushcraft skills - learn ‘Leave no Trace’ fire lighting and animal tracks and trails
Day 5 - Hill climb and mini expedition – climb to the top of North Berwick Law and return to Yellowcraig

Minibeast Hunt - Musselburgh 2019
