The East Lothian Council Performance Athletes in School (PAiS) programme aims to offer secondary school aged pupils in East Lothian establishments that are identified at gifted and talented additional support to help them achieve their full potential.
The PAiS programme offers different kinds of support to athletes.
• Sports Specific sessions are offered to athletes selected in Football, Golf, Hockey and Rugby.
• Strength and Conditioning support delivered by specialists from Edinburgh College is offered to all PAiS athletes on Friday afternoons.
• We are also pleased to offer physio support to all athletes delivered by specialists from FASIC.
• All athletes also receive a Sports Awards Pass, allowing them access to East Lothian Sports facilities.
This is a two step process:
1. complete this form - to register your child
2. At the appropriate time yo will be emailed and asked to complete payment as appropriate. This completes the process.

- Transport back to school after Tues & Thurs morning sessions.
- Access to physiotherapy support from FASIC.
- 2x PAiS T-Shirts & Beanie Hat
- Willie Innes Sports Award Pass granting access to East Lothian Sports Centres.
- Parents/Guardians will be responsible for arranging transport to the morning sessions and to and from the S&C sessions.
- The three termly payments total £270 (Hockey £225 = £45+£90+£90)
- The event date of 29/02/24 is the term 2 payment deadline
- The event date of 28/03/24 is the term 3 payment deadline.
2023/24 PAiS Hockey Fee is slightly less due to starting later in the Academic year.

Please register you child for the 2023/24 PAiS Programme.
If selected following the trial period, you will be contacted to complete payment at a later date.
NOTE The Event date of 28th September is the Deadline for registrations.
