MGS DANCE
At Musselburgh Grammar Active Schools we are very excited to be able to start offering dance again to our pupils. All our dance classes are designed for all abilities and allow participants to work at their own pace with individual personalised goals and targets.
As well as working on physical fitness our sessions will also help build and improve self-esteem, leadership, teamwork, stress relief, communication skills and many more wellbeing indicators.
Cheerleading is a team-based sport that involves stunting, pyramids, baskets, tumbling, jumps and dance!

MGS S1 - S6 Dance Fitness
Name: MGS S1-S6 Dance Fitness 2024/25
Venue: Dance Studio
Ages: All S1 - S6 Pupils
Days/Dates: Every Monday (excluding school holidays/closures) with various competitions to be advised.
Times: 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm
Price: FREE
Notes:
- Irrespective of attending last season or not, ALL participants must be signed up using this online system by a parent or guardian.
- The date 22/06/2026 used is a placeholder for the last day to sign up for the season.
- If your child has previously benefited from additional support, please let us know when signing up. We may call or email you to discuss further how can help to support your child.
- No pupils should enter dance studio prior to Miss Emslie arriving.
- Please note by signing your child up to school badminton you are giving permission for them to participate in school training and competitions, both home and away for MGS Dance Season 2025/26
