Active Schools Hockey
We're excited to bring back Primary Hockey this year in partnership with Musselburgh Grammar School senior pupils who will be running the sessions along with support from the Musselburgh Active Schools team.
Open to all P4-7 pupils from the Musselburgh school area. The Hockey sessions will offer a great opportunity for pupils to build friendships and meet children from other schools, all while getting active and developing their skills.
Please see below for details of the latest available classes. Please feel free to attend both classes! There is a new session starting at Pinkie 2G Hockey pitch or you are also invited to join the hockey club running at Prestonlodge High School which is run in partnership with Preston Lodge Ladies Hockey Club and with support from some of our PLHS Senior Pupils.

Booking for new participants available from 6pm on Tues 21st Oct - you do not need to re-book if your child was attending before the October Holidays
Venue: 2G Hockey Pitch, Preston Lodge High School
Ages: P4 - P7
Dates: Wednesdays - Sep 24th; Oct 1st, 8th, (off 15th), 22nd, 29th; Nov 5th, 12th, 19th (8 sessions)
Time: 3:45-4:30pm
Cost: FREE
Activity Leaders: PLHS Senior Pupils (with support from Susan Stewart, Active Schools Coordinator)
Kit Required: Clothing and footwear appropriate for outdoor play on 2G astroturf pitch; during the colder months, hats, gloves and jackets are advised; shin pads and mouth guards are recommended; water bottle with name on it; bring your own stick if you have one, but not essential, sticks will be available to borrow.
