We are currently offering our activity programme for Term 1A 2024/25

 

Welcome to Musselburgh Active Schools

 

Our aim is to offer school-aged children opportunities to take part in sport and physical activity, while promoting active, healthy lifestyles throughout their school years and into adulthood. 

 

We achieve this with the support of a network of volunteers, coaches, parents, carers and teachers who deliver extra-curricular sport and physical activity before and after school, during break and lunch times, and across the wider community.

 Active Schools activities are FREE to ALL

 

FREE Access to Active East Lothian PAID Activities

 

Active East Lothian activities have a fee but are free to pupils who are
care experienced, young carers, and/or registered for free school meals with East Lothian Council. 

 

All financial support is delivered confidentially.

Support

We aim to make all of our activities inclusive to all and understand that everyone has differing needs and requirements. We will try to make reasonable adjustments where possible and will always be open to engaging with pupils and parents/carers to ensure this happens.

 

In our booking form we will ask you a few questions to share any information that will help us provide any additional support.

Activities

Click on each link below to learn more about sport and activities that are available for Primary School aged children in the Musselburgh cluster. 

 

Please look out for updates from your child's school and on our social media pages as we aim to add more activities throughout the year.

 

Spaces for all Active Schools and Active East Lothian activities are limited and must be booked in advance.

 

Online Booking for free activities opens at 6pm on Monday 19th August 2024.

 

Online Booking for paid activities opens at 6pm on Monday 2nd September 2024.

 

 

 

Above you will see the list of activities we are offering for this term.
There are a number of classes which have multiple

options for different levels of ability and age groups, as well as different locations and times.

Please ensure you select the class best suited to your child.

 

If any class is currently unavailable to book, it is because the class has already started.
