Trampolining

Our Trampoline classes are all run by the excellent City of Edinburgh Trampoline Club. These classes allow any child from Nursery-p7 within the Musselburgh Cluster to get involved in the sport with classes at Musselburgh Grammar School. All of the coaches who work for Active Schools are also coaches for their club sessions, so should any child want to progress on to more advanced Trampolining, the coaches are there every week to point them onto the right development pathway. However if you just want to take part for the enjoyment of the sport, you can do that too!!
Trampolining is a great way to keep fit and also it is great fun!!
Please Note: Due to Health and Safety and Fire regulations please note there are NO facilities to stay and wait in the school during the classes. Parents/Carers must arrive no sooner than 5 minutes before the class start time and the coaches will come to the main door to collect children and will deliver children back to the front door at the end of the class.
For Trampolining classes all participants should have long hair tied back to avoid being caught in Springs. Children may also be turned away if they are wearing denim shorts/trousers, skirts, dresses or items of clothing which may get caught in the Trampoline for Health and Safety purposes. This includes any studs, buttons or zips. Please dress your child appropriatley for a sports activity. ALL CHILDREN must also wear socks, as bare feet will not be allowed onto the trampolines.
