Sailing
Our Dinghy Start courses are designed to help complete beginners get to grips with essentials like steering, sail handling, rope work and safety at sea
The session will be run by Whiteadder Watersports Trust
Beginners and Improvers Sailing: Do not worry whether you are a Beginner or Improver when you sign up, our fully qualified and experienced instructors will make sure you are in a group that helps you make progress. Sailing is friendly and fun, and we use games and challenges to build skills, confidence and teamwork.
What to bring: Whiteadder Watersports Centre is equipped with wetsuits, boots, Buoyancy Aids and Helmets. Wear underwear that helps your wetsuit slide easily on and off – a swimsuit is ideal, and a nylon (polyester, etc) top is better than cotton. Bring a towel and a change of underwear. You may want to bring a snack and a drink.
